I put some pics on my new Hotshot by connecting the USB cable and copy/pasting some pics to it. I tried resizing them to ~240x400 also, but when I try to display it, the pic is small on the screen. I set it to be wallpaper, but it's also small there. I look at the preinstalled pics and they're around 240x374 and they come out large (pretty much the whole screen) so it can be done.
The only thing I notice different is that the preinstalled pics are a .hpc name extension. Which I've never heard of. I don't see anything about it in the manual.
Has anyone figured this out?
I too have never heard of .hpc. however, try this site for size. . .
http://www.picresize.com/
And follow the direction
for step 2 Rezise Your Picture: moved to " Make my picture: Custom size...
and enter 240 for the width, and change the Percent to pixels. Then enter 374 for the height and change the percent to pixels as well.
follow the direction and save your images.
Now let say you don't have a wire that connect your phone to the computer to get the image that you have just recreated. No worry here. . .
Here another site: http://www.pixdrop.com/ (No worry, if you cannot get text or short text or even access the web, this is one of the very few site that will bypass that and allow you to get your images)
follow the diretion and you are done.
