HTC Sensation - Thinking of buying a new battery

Hello everyone. I would like some opinions on whether is is better to buy the Anker 1900mAh battery online or should I walk into a TELUS store and get a 1730mAh HTC Amaze battery for my HTC Sensation? Will either battery fit or am I just stuck with the stock one. If there are other battery suggestions, I would like to hear them as well. By the way, why isn't there a Sensation prefix or sub topic? Just curious.

Check out the POWERSKIN. It's a backup battery in a skin and will makes the Sensation a little fatter. I find it easier to hold. Other than that most after market battery's work.. As far as longer life..... ICS is our hope.

Thanks! I'll check it out. Isn't the timetable for ICS in February?

Thanks for the powerskin tip - it looks like a great idea. And as for the other poster - ICS is a fair-bit more battery friendly, but I'm still happy to entertain ways to extend my battery life.

check ebay for extended batteries. I got a 3500 mah fat battery for my Incredible. So far so good. I bought the phone used and the stock battery was either weak or getting tired, didnt even seem to last a whole day if I used it at all.

Install the battery widgets free from the play store. These widgets helps to improve overall life time of the battery. Most people use them save their battery.

Thank you to everyone for your suggestions. I originally went with the Anker battery with the wall charger. It was a great investment. I would charge the phone and the spare at the same time and walk with both batteries. It worked great until my 1 year old broke the plastic separator for the connector on the Anker. Now it sometimes shifts in the phone and the battery life would cut in half and drain quickly. I'm going to order more online but may try the Powerskin. I've tried Juice Defender but it doesn't work with my Sensation.

The Anker batter is very good than the original one..It gives you more power and battery life and prevents heating of your phone..
