Cydia Boot Logos - Animated (Mario BootLogo) - Do They Work with 5.0.1?

Hey all,

I just jailbroke my phone over the weekend (using redsn0w's b4 utility) and am just starting to do a few tweaks here and there.

I have iOS 5.0.1.

I'm trying to install the Mario BootLogo (the one where he runs across the screen and hits the brick out of which the Apple logo pops) - I had no issues installing it - I'm now able to see the "Boot Logo" section in the settings and can even select and preview the Mario BootLogo.

The problem is that when I actually reboot my phone, it just shows me the standard Apple logo (like it does before a JB).

Do the animated boot logos work with iOS 5.0.1?

No, the absinthe jb is a userland exploit not a boot rom exploit

Remove the package in cydia, voilá

Excellent - I actually downloaded this fix the other day - works like a charm!

I now have Mario happily running across my screen when I boot my phone.
