Your right on that. I can only hope though. When I had seen the sim slot label I first thought it was for gsm networks. Then I realized that it could be for the lte sim. Only time will tell I guess.Originally Posted by aRBy

I've always had Verizon cellphones. I don't know what a sim card is, but thought it was so you could use a cellphone with different carriers.
Do Verizon 4G LTE devices all have sim cards? What purpose do they serve?
I'm up for an upgrade phone, but don't like the new selections. Is it likely that Casio will produce a Commando for 4G LTE soon?

I have my Verizon # on temp standby if Verizon announces this device I will re-up for another 24 months if not I think I am going to just cancel the line.

I haven't heard a thing. I hope if there is an update that they don't under spec the phone. They would sell more if the specs were up to date.
