I recently ported from Fido to WIND. As advised here, I didn't mention it to Fido, just let WIND port the number and Fido would automatically cancel and bill me.
The second my number ported, I lost the ability to log in to fido.ca to check my bill (ok, fair enough). My billing period ended Jan 16th. I got an email that listed my final balance, seemed a little high but not uber-crazy, but of course I can't login. It also said it would be billing my credit card on Jan 30th (should have turned that off before cancelling, but too late).
I called them up to ask about details, and the CSR pretty rudely stated that since I cancelled my final bill would be in the mail and I should get it "in the next few days". Since it has been a week with no bill, should I worry? Can anybody who's recently left comment on the time it takes?
Call and request it, I'm also waiting for it....it's been almost a month but also I filed a complain to the CCTS in regards to the final bill which they fixed afterwards, so I guess we are now 2 who are about to call for the final bill, no biggie!
