    Vxi Blue Parrot Xpress

Just got it. Extremely sensitive mic. Those that don't talk loud might like it.

Noise canceling is very good, same as era for most part. Added acoustic foam to help wind noise. Has a2dp

Overall solid. Wondering when jawbone will bring out something new

How's the outgoing audio? "Robotic" or clearly intelligible?

I find the different wear styles interesting. I prefer the ON the ear wearing methods; things sticking IN my ear tend to ache after a while.
Air goes in and out. Blood goes round and round. Any deviation is a problem.

The outgoing is clear but probably not quite as clear as like the Plantronics Voyager Pro

The incoming audio in certain prompts sounds a little robotic as well

The a2dp works very well and it works well with Siri

I listened to a number of clips i made on voice mail from my work phone. Blue Parrot is much more natural sounding than my jawbone era when hooked up to my iPhone 4s.

It is also much more consistent when working with Siri than my Era or my Cobra CBTH8.

I have made it my main headset right now.

Would like something smaller than this boom option, but the noise canceling I find is much better. The Era is very good and I have used it a tone over the last 18 months, but I like the natural sound of the Xpress.

Anyone else as surprised as me that we got nothing new out of CES?

Any chance of getting sound clips posted online? Outgoing is not as clear as voyager pro? But noise cancelling is better?

How's the on-ear fit? Does the ear hook hurt after a while? Does it slip / get loose? Are the over-the-head / around-the-neck bands useful at all?

How light is this thing? Looks like it would be heavy. Does the boom reach all the way to your mouth?

    Thanks!!

If you have google voice, it's really easy to leave yourself a message (make sure your mobile number is not "do not require PIN for voicemail" in google voice settings so you can actually leave a message). Then you can download as MP3 or embed straight from google voice.

Not sure what/if anything else there is. Recording directly to phone sound *vastly* different from leaving a voicemail.

I agree wholeheartedly. I love the Jawbone style bluetooth headsets but holly cow does my ear hurt after a while! Not to mention how gross the inserts get in the summer heat!

So far I have no complaint's about my Blue Parrot Xpressway Headset. I've had it for quite a while now and haven't had anyone mention background noises nor issues hearing me. Audio comes through crystal clear with no distortion that I can hear.
