I am sure the big companies love people like you that must have the newest version of the products they offer; but for those of us that do not need to spend income if not needed, a simple work around or fix is what this forum populates.
"Holding up progress"? By fixing an old (2 years) phone? Thank you for that life coaching insight on how to spend MY money and time. I bet you are a real hit around the cubicle *co-workers putting there heads down or acting like they are on the phone when you come around* as not to be on the receiving end of some of your words of wisdom.

My 3g used to go crazy when it came to the battery but after i jailbroke it,restore it and re jailbroke the battery did it proved a bit. I used to get 5 hours of talk now i can go up to 8. Also for my peace of mind i purchased a mophie juice pack air for it. it doubles my talk time by a lot .

glad to hear your issue was fix still my 3G still doing ok for now but it begging to bog down since i can't upgrade some of my apes since they are no on iso 6 .
Oh I did manage to get the new Apple ear phones(the Ear Pods) and my 3G is sadly not working with it well. People say they can't hear me but i can hear then clearly. Music sounds great but can't adjust the volume at all. I can skip tracks but thats it.
