Got new Unlocked Chinese Phone and tmobiles charging me for mms messages?

I got a chinese sharp 9120C unlocked phone. i looked at tutorials for data and mms to get it working. I thought everything was working correctly because i could send and receive messages. But then i got "could not receive mms account balance is low.". I have tmobiles prepaid $15 a month unlimited texting (which includes picture messaging..)(no internet though). I had $5 on my account(which i use for calling) and now i have 20cents. Why did this happen? ... what are the correct settings for mms so i dont get charged? Why would it take my money for it though, i dont have internet access at all and its not possible to get it with my plan. So how is it charging it? As a phone call? I'm confused..

Chances are it's probably got nothing to do with the phone. You should contact T-Mobile for that.

    It's all good (^_^)
