Beyond Talk users don't qualify. Paygo users do. To get one year eligibility on VMUSA, according to VM's w
ebsite:
"Except for the Beyond Talk plans, all other Virgin Mobile plans are eligible for the One Year of Service offer.
There are two ways to qualify for One Year of Service (Beyond Talk plans are excluded):
1) Add $90 ($150 for 7c Round Down Plan) or more to your account in any consecutive 72-hour period by using a credit/debit card, registered PayPal account, or Top-Up cards.
2) Add $60 (excluding 7c Round Down Plan) or more to your account in any consecutive 72-hour period within 30 days of activation.
NOTE: For Virgin Mobile’s payLo Monthly plans you will still need to purchase the Plan each month, or Top-Up when you run out of minutes, in order to use your phone."
I don't much care for all the drama that the data hogs have been having with VM (and H20) but both of them still have solid paygo plans which largely avoid the issues by having less issues with mms/data and CS.
