Should I expect hiccups porting US Cellular prepaid number?

    Hi all,

After much time searching, I've not found anything specific to my question, in part because searching on "us cellular" yields "us" and "cellular" with the latter pretty much resulting in every thread being shown.

Anyway, I purchased a Verizon Droid X which I've since rooted, and installed CM7.1 (including all necessary updates). In less than a week, my plan is to activate and port my US Cellular prepaid number over. Should I expect any hiccups given it's US Cellular and/or a prepaid number, or should this number port over easily?

    Thanks.

    Fletch!

call USCC and double check your account number and pass code to make sure you provide PP the correct information before you begin your port.

Thanks. I was going to do as much. I was just curious if there was a particular "trend" or expectation one might have with regards to numbers being ported over from the prepaid side of USCC based on anyone's prior experience.

    Thanks again.
