    BlackBerry Curve 9350?

I currently have an Android handset and am still within my 30 days. I'm missing the physical keyboard of the BlackBerry as well as instant emails. I know I can get instant emails on the Android device, but have that synch turned off to save battery power.

I have considered switching to the BlackBerry Curve 9350. I know it's a step down from the Hero S that I have, and have read some reviews about the battery not lasting. Was wondering if anyone out there has the new Curve 9350 and what the real deal is on it? There aren't a whole lot of reviews on the 9350 itself online.

There must be people out there that are satisfied with it, aside from the few negative reviews I've read on the USCC website.

Currently I'm aware of the management issues and marketing issues at RIM, I'm not looking for Windows Phone, or another Android device...but just an objective and honest opinion based on your personal experience or what some of you may have encountered with actual customers with the new Curve. I'm very used to the BlackBerry platform, as my first smartphones were BlackBerrys'. Thanks!!!

Here's the review I posted on USCC:

BlackBerry phones are by far the most efficient smartphones on the market. Unlike the Android phones, you don't need to download additional apps or go through multiple settings/menus to do basic functions.
This is my third BlackBerry from USCC (Curve 8330, Bold 9650 previously) and I love it. I am surprised at what an upgrade the 9350 has been to my 9650. I was skeptical, but it runs a lot smoother, battery actually lasts longer for me than the 9650, and the size difference is kind of crazy. The 9350 is so incredibly thin and lightweight. I gave my 9650 to my brother-in-law and I held it while trying to do something for him the other day and it felt like a brick compared to my new phone. The browser is much faster than previous BlackBerries as well.

To echo a few others, take the time to learn how to use your phone; I'd guarantee 75% or more of the negative reviews on this (or any phone really) are the result of user error. If you hit the End button to get out of an app, it is still running in the background. It's akin to minimizing a window on your computer and will drain your battery. To go out of an app or game completely and therefore vastly increase your battery life, go to the menu and select Close.

I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for a reliable smartphone with outstanding reception (way better than the Desires and Mesmerize's of people I know) and the best security and email in the industry.
