    Buyout TELUS Contract?

    Okay there may has been posts about this. But want a quick answer and search is just odd..

    Would Bell ever payout my 16 months left contract with Telus to sign me up with them. If they would do the buyouts I'd be bring 5 phones over.

    Just wondering. Heard past stories about it, obviously I'd have to sign up for three years for all 5 again.

    I think they give you a credit of around $100 or so (per line), but it's always best to call them and ask yourself.

    Yes, they will.

    However, it's no different than trading in a car on a new one. They will just give you a discount to make it appear they are paying. But in reality, the rest of the deal, will be inflated, so you are paying for it anyways.

    Why would you want to do that? Do you think it will be better when you come over to Bell? I was recently switched over from Telus and I would much rather have stayed. Particularly if you travel internationally, Bell's roaming packages are a huge hassle. If you're trying to get a better contract, have you tried talking to the SMB retention department? If not, there people in the Telus forum who can help you get in contact with them.

    You should really add a disclaimer on your posts that you are on a CORP-CORP plan, for which you had no control over, and the person that facilitated your swap chose not to negotiate anything decent for you guys. Your experiences are not indicative of "the norm" with regards to corporate plans @ Bell Mobility.
