The Samsung Galaxy Note with LTE is coming to Rogers in Feb. It's got a 5.3" Super AMOLED display, stylus and a dual core 1.5Ghz processor. You can reserve it using Roger's reservation system (log into Rogers.com, choose my account).
At 5.3" is it a phone or a tablet? Do you want to walk around with one of these glued to your face?
Holding a phone to your face that is as big as a paperback book and using a stylus input. It's 1999 all over again Maybe it will come with an optional battery bag and whip antenna to complete the retro/modern look.
Carrier unlocked iPhone 4
Unlimited airtime, Unlimited CAN/US long distance, Unlimited SMS to CAN/US wireless numbers
2500 Call Forwarding minutes to CAN/US numbers

I wouldn't, but that's me now that I've been on LTE for a while, the benefit of a faster network is more important to me than a slightly faster processor.
Clearly it's a phone. I think the only people that would ever call it a tablet are tiny screen iPhone users.
It's 2cm wider than an iPhone which really is not that much, it is only 3mm wider than my Dell Streak which does Not feel too wide at all when talking on it.
The benefits you gain from the nice big screen more than make up for it being 1.5cm wider than a Blackberry.

21 Mbps sounds amazing now show me that speed getting delivered in an urban area in the afternoon/evening. Lucky to get 0.5 Mbps in the afternoon on Bell downtown (maybe it is better with an HSPA 14 or 21 device than my HSPA 7.2 galaxy s). I hear Rogers is the same or worse depending on where you go (Bell is slow but quite reliable where I hear places like Eaton centre have been non-functional on Rogers).
I was plenty happy with the 3-5 Mbps that I got consistently when I first got on to HSPA, the itch to jump to LTE is not for want of the crazy speed it offers but a yearning to be free from the overloaded mess that is the HSPA networks nowadays.
My friend has one of these and it's truly gargantuan. Every time he pulls it out people gasp.
Don't get me wrong - I think my iPhone 4 is too small and would prefer something bigger in general... but this thing is a beast. Definitely a tad too large for me.
