HTC Rezound Activation Question

I am thinking about buy a verizon HTC Rezound and activate PP on this phone.
Pro of this phone is it can support cdma and gsm signals.

My concern is whether PP could work on this phone since it is a 4G phone in verizon network.
I am not sure PP could work with 4G phone.

Hope ppl could answer my question.

If you look at the 4G coverage map, it only covers major metropolitan areas whereas 3G covers pretty much the whole country.

Most 3G phones can switch from 3G to 1X (2G) automatically depending on what's available. I have been in rural places where 3G is not available and my phone coped very well -- it switched to 2G.

I can't imagine a 4G phone that can't switch to 3G likewise. What? You drive out of town and you have no data?

Do you really think that Verizon is going to cut off that farmer in Iowa from any data? I don't think so since once that got out, it would kill business.

Update...

I now have 3g and voice. I broke my texts.. I can only receive texts while I'm in a call.

You must have everything set up correctly before activation. I had to remove the phone from pageplus and readd to get data to work.

Basically, to get this to work, I added the Page Plus PRL, read all settings from my old android phone and copied all info exactly to the Rezound.

I broke the text messaging prior to removing the phone from page plus..

are some of the rezounds differnt because i dont see that screen in the menu choices
