Refreshed Samsung Galaxy Nexus on the way?

Word on the street is that there may be a refreshed Samsung Galaxy Nexus coming. I wasrReading over at Android and Me and this thread caught my attention:

The rumors state that there is going to be a refreshed camera. Possibly along the way of 8.0MP. On top of that, the processors are scheduled to be refreshed using The faster SGX544 GPU is included with Texas Instruments’ upcoming OMAP4470 processor. This is the successor to the original OMAP4460 found in the Galaxy Nexus, that includes the older SGX540 GPU.

With the Sprint version of the Galaxy Nexus coming soon we'll have to wait and see if they are in fact getting a refreshed model or the LTE based model that Verizon has currently

Either way, I hope they do launch a refresh on the HSPA+ line as well.
I use the Galaxy Nexus and while I love the phone, I wish the camera was better. Faster is always better as well so I'll take the processor bump.

    What are your thoughts?

I hope they rename it, to differentiate it from the original Galaxy Nexus.

Galaxy Nexus 2? Galaxy Nexus S?

I have a Nexus S right now and was waiting to upgrade to the galaxy Nexus but was very dissapointed by the camera and the processor but now if there's a refreshed version coming with those 2 things upgraded then hell ya I'm ready to take the plunge.
    250 Min + 100 Min = 20$
    Unlimited after 6 + WKnds
    unlimited text = Free
    VM and CID = Free
    100 Min LD = Free
    6 Gb Data = 30$

    50$ + SAF + 911 + tax = about 64$

Maybe this is the Galaxy Nexus S, we've heard rumored over on the WIND Mobile forums.

With a spec boost like this, there better also be a huge battery boost before I consider buying a Nexus.
Telus told me that I have to pay more than my monthly bill to continue using services.
So I said BYE TELUS! and Hello WIND!
I then tried Mobilicity, on the $35 all-in. Coverage sucked and then the Holiday Miracle Plan popped up...
So I said BYE MOBILICITY! and Hello again WIND!

Those are the specs I actually thought it would have before the announcement. The SGX540 is too slow, and the launcher still has that Android stutter we all know because it struggles to push 1280x720. It's great on my 800x480 SGS running ICS, but even clocked 184MHz faster it's too weak for rendering it at 1280x720.
    My Plan
    -150 Minutes
    -Unlimited Texts
    -6pm Evenings
    -6GB Data

    Total $60
