Telus Windows Phone 7

Hey guys, has anyone with a Telus windows phone 7 (HTC surround or Optimus 7) got the new 8107 update yet?
They announced it a week back and i still haven't been able to download it.

I have the Optimus 7. No update yet, and I've tried daily through Zune.

More importantly... when's the sexy new hardware coming? I'm ready to trade up to the Nokia 900 or HTC Titan II!

Just got it pushed to the phone this morning. Updated through Zune with no issues.

Did it come with "internet sharing" or hidden SSID abilities?

I have received it on my Desire HD, and it did come with the hotspot capability (titled "Internet Access"). I don't have my HD7 with me right now, so I may have the actuial name of the hotspot capability wrong. It does show up in the Setting section.

Hi,

That should have been my HTC HD7, not my Desire HD (which is an Android phone as everybody is well aware). I don't know what the "hidden" SSID abilities are, or where they would be.

Tethering (if that's what you are referring to) on Windows Phone 7 is only available on devices that come with Mango by default, *and* if the carrier allows it. Therefore devices that were upgraded from WP7 -> Mango will not have that function.
