First post.... show me some love. I am currently on ATT with and iPhone, but my wife is on page plus and I just switched her over to the OG Droid. Everything seems to be working correctly except for MMS. Her phone is stock from Verizon. No root, not flashed. (I've been flashing since WinMo5)
Also have a friend with a Droid X, also not rooted and not flashed. Everything working except MMS. Also on PPC.
My question is: Does anyone have experience with these issues? I haven't really been able to find a lead on how to fix this. I have a Droid X2 that I want to take to PPC but I want to know that I can get everything working correctly first.
Thanks in advance.

Is WiFi OFF and cellular data ON when you're trying to send or receive MMS? Are you able to access the internet with WiFi OFF and cellular data ON?
In the end you may need to re-authenticate the handset. PP CS sometimes is hesitant to do this BUT it does fix quirky issues like this. Some call it an 'ESN reset'. Whatever the case your phone/handset is simply removed from the account and then put back on the account, resetting 'things'.
I recently tested the "don't mention a PP Dealer by name" rule here on PP Hofo......trust me, it is still in effect - got me a 7 day ban.
@Boz1 Thank you. That worked on both handsets. Makes me feel kind of juvenile. I guess I assumed that since text was working, mms would also.
@tracenet, thanks for the response. I'll remember that in the future.
Next question: Does anyone know if mms on droid or droid x charge data? My wife had been using an lg enV2 on the Unlimited TNT plan and never got charged for mms. Now that she has the droid, I had 3g turned off because she only gets 20 megs, but I'd like for her mms to work. I'm in the process of rooting now to run droidwall.

You're welcome.
As for MMS cost, it works the same on any phone with UTnT. MMS data transport is deducted from the UTnT's included data.
Ok, on to message size. I read on ATT's website that they have an MMS cap of 600kb. Is this a relatively good indicator of MMS sizing? I'm trying to get a rough calculation of data cost per pic message. I know it will be different with every handset, but if I can get an idea of size for the largest, it should keep me safe regardless of what handset is used.

I sent a support ticket on the PP CS website last night asking for an ESN Reset to get my Motorola W385 flip phone to receive calls after I ESN changed back to it from my OG Droid. Everything else, including SMS, MMS and outbound calls was working OK. I checked my W385 a few hours later, and lo and behold, it was receiving a call OK! I wonder if an ESN Reset would get inbound calls to work? Before I submitted the support ticket, I had to go into the service programming menu of my W385 and change the Vocoder from EVRC to 13k to get outbound calling to work.
