Since I first got the Nexus One I have been using the internet2 APN to get data with the 10 dollar plan. Then today, all of a sudden, I lost my connection and the APN is no longer working. Is anyone else having this problem?
Here is my APN settings
internet2.voicestream.com
MCC :310
MNC: 260
apn type: default
Working fine for me in central Florida. Try the epc.tmobile.com APN. Make sure that packet data is enabled. You can run a ping test and get other info by dialing *#*#4636#*#* then go into 'Phone Information'.

Tried the ping test, it failed
Do I need to change anything else for epc except the actual APN (like server or mcc etc)
How do I check packet data option, never heard of that

Nope. Just change the apn to epc.tmobile.com
There should be a checkbox that says 'Enable Data' or something similar. You've rebooted the phone, right?

Yes, lots of people in the last week or so. Although they have been shutting off the Nexus One's for the past couple of months.
Read the latest in the last couple of pages in the tzones thread:
This happened to my wife's Nexus One on the morning of the 1st...
Now it is in a really weird state. We have two T-Mo SIMs from the same family plan. I put my own SIM into my wife's Nexus One. Works. On either APN, epc, internet2, both working - this is something I've never seen before with the $10 data. Then I put my wife's SIM back in... Redirected to upsell page.
I wonder if they've somehow stored the IMEI/IMSI combination, rather than just IMEI.
I really wish they'd just stop playing games and admit they're a dumb pipe. Too bad consumer-friendly options are virtually nonexistent in the United States.
I have web2go $10 plan and both the internet2 and epc APNs lead to the upsell prompt.
I also borrowed an N900 and no problems whatsoever with the internet2 APN.
Since I can get non Nexus One phones that are unlocked to work, I'm thinking its an IMEI thing.
