$50 Handset exchange credit

Second line had no contract data or voice. Signed a 3 year data ($10 flex) and voice for IP4 discounted price. My question is should I call back and ask for the $50 handset exchange credit if I can go and hand one in, or should I physically go to a retailer and activate the iphone there to get it?

And I think it has to be a fido store. I don't know that Apple stores will do it. Maybe but I doubt it.
