Best qwerty phone?

My wife is looking for a good qwerty phone that can be bought cheaply via ebay. She currently has an LG Scoop from Alltel that is showing it's age and she would prefer to get a "new" phone without signing a contract with Verizon. She prefers that there is no touchscreen, no data plan required, and brand is unimportant. Any help?

Hard to beat the LG Env - LG Env2 - LG Env3...all are readily available and cheap.

If she likes the Scoop, the Cosmo and Intensity are very similar and are very inexpensive with a contract renewal. I personally like the Env3 the best, but you'd have to buy one of those from a place like Ebay since Verizon no longer offers it.

So far the wife likes it. She said the hardest part is getting used to the different keyboard/layout. Otherwise no complaints on her end.
