Been a while since I posted in this neck of the woods.
My mom has a Samsung A667T phone and recently got herself a blue tooth headset. For the life of me I've been unable to pair her headset to the phone. None of the Bluetooth options under settings seem to respond. Any time I choose one of them I get "initializing" and then nothing. I can't even seem to turn the Bluetooth on / off.
Headset works fine with my Galaxy S
Any suggestions ? Did Telus lock something on this thing ?

Telus does not cripple or mess with the bluetooth features of any of their phones anymore. Have not done that for years and years now.
I do not know why you might be having problems. Could be defective or just some kind of setting you missed. Reboot the phone and try again to enable bluetooth on the phone. Make it discoverable and you would even see it from your Galaxy S pairing screen.
We think everyone should be able to afford a wireless phone. That's why we were the first wireless company in North America to offer pay-by-the-second airtime, and why we don't charge an activation fee. NO scary contract to sign. Immediate national coverage. And a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Yes, it's finally time to get a wireless phone.

Some Samsungs split the bluetooth settings across 2 different categories - "settings" and something else that escapes me at the moment. You might want to try poking around in the other menu options to see if anything looks promising.
