I'm feeling a little sick to my stomach because, after a rather expensive outlay of cash on a new Motorola Atrix 2 Android Phone and matching Otterbox, along with, following all the steps for getting data / mms working on my new Android phone .... I'm get nothing. of course text and voice work, but that's it.
I followed the guide to the letter. APN's backed up, then deleted. 2 new APN's added. One for data, the other for mms. Home APN selected, then rebooted. Still, no data.
I am unsure what to do at this point as I've read through all 30+ pages on the Android guide thread.
I would be so ever grateful if someone here on the forums, from this wonderful community could offer me expert opinion and advice on how to resolve this issue.
I've double and triple checked my steps, the spelling and the guide. The APN's are in place and perfect, but, no data.
Thank you in advance, Karissa

The problem is she started a thread here herself so there are two identical threads:
New Atrix 2 woes. Seeking expert community help

don't know if your question was answered in the other thread but try using a single apn instead of two. I use two apns on my atrix4g and everything works great but I think the atrix2 uses a single apn for data and mms.
Hello I had the same problems bit I came across the fix but I dont remember where it was...However I did copy and paste and saved it in a email folder in case I needed it later....
Download Apn manager from the market and save the Apn"s on the phone...then delete all of them....
create a new Apn....
Name: (Give it a name)
APN: att.mvno
Username:
Password:
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: proxy.mvno.tracfone.com
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
APN Type: default, supl - Note: that is a comma "," between default and supl....also default, supl, mms, agps, fota, dun
.....I have an Atrix 2 with Straight Talk Sim...(dont Judge)
Try these in a single APN. Be sure to delete the APN's before adding this new one. Hope you used Backup and Restore APN from the Market.
NAME........................Straight Talk "or anything you would like to use"

MMS PROXY................66.209.11.33

Leave everything else blank or what is in the default settings.
can you get it working in your original phone? The e71, or noki 6790, or e5, etc. If not (I couldn't) call them.
I have tried ALL of these settings and have talked to ST and still no data. I deleted all APN's and only have one. HELP!!!!!
Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I'm having a similar problem. Internet works ok but is spotty and mms hardly works at all. I've managed to successfully send 1 or 2 pictures to myself out of about 25 attempts. I've tried several different APNs with the same result. I keep hearing people say to try two or more APNs at once but can't find any reference to what those APNs should be when using two or more.
Edit:
MMS seems to work when I send a tiny (3KB) image but fails with images taken from the camera even at my smallest "max image size" setting of 200KB
one is just internet and the other for mms. but just use one. a mistake that is often made if there will be a tiny typing error such as a space where there should not be. every time you made a change be sure you save it, activate it and reboot your phone.
I double checked (for the fiftieth time) and there was a spelling error "tracphone" instead of "tracfone" duh. MMS is still spotty. Outgoing mms will fail or take an hour to send. Incoming seems to work fine though strangely enough.
under apn, remove the proxy and port number ... keep those blank ... under mms proxy, try to use the numerical proxy for the mms .. save, reboot ands try again, if not then try the written one ... my samsung likes the numerical one, but doesnt play well with the written out proxy, some other devices its the opposite
jpapa - I will try that later today. After making the changes that alphamale mentioned and then setting the max image size to 100k (instead of 200k which I thought was the smallest setting before) it seems to be working ok-ish. It is still just a workaround rather than a fix though. Thanks for the help, I'll post the results from the new settings.
Everything is working good enough for now. Part of the problem seems to be that data works less well than I would expect when there is low signal strength. So even when I had APNs which would work my tests would sometimes fail. Now I want to look into why this is the case. Perhaps another tweak to my apn settings would help, or maybe there will be an improvement when ICS is released for the Atrix 2 within the next couple months. For reference for anyone else having these problems I'll list my current settings.
Name: H20 WAP
APN: att.mvno
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS proxy: 66.209.11.33
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
APN TYPE: default,mms
AVP protocol: Ipv4
All other fields are blank. Also note that I didn't manually enter all of those fields, some autofilled after I filled in other fields. Note that I originally used an app "H20 Config" to set my APN's which explains the APN names being what they are. There are also two other APNs: H20 Internet, H20 MMSC which have the same information but not all of the fields are filled in. Only H20 WAP is selected (with the green dot to the right of it.)
Thanks for the help guys!
