I have my old iPhone 3G that I just rediscovered in a drawer. I restored it as a new phone for my daughter to watch her movies on. When I got it all restored and activated, the phone app has a red one on it indicating a voicemail or that voicemail isn't set up. Is there a way to remove the red notification icon or remove the phone app all together? Or maybe if there is a way to install iPod touch firmware?
