I agree. I guess it'd be too hard for the average consumer to know what SIM to pick (AT&T vs T-Mobile, mini vs micro, etc) Then they'd try to return it or something. Here's a commercial by Straight Talk, maybe they'll air it. If they do, they'll do really well.

My number porting didn't go flawless but it could've been worse. I'm on Straight Talk now with my number and my phone!![]()
I ordered my AT&T compatible sim card Tuesday afternoon around 1pm and I just got an email confirmation at 10:52am today. There must be a ton of orders getting processed. No biggie though I won't be activating it until the end of the month anyway when my page plus plan expires.

In case you missed it earlier in the thread, I hit over 2mbps last night on an old iPhone 3G, which I think was maxing out the device. I'm don't think there is a speed cap, but either way, you're going to at least double what you're getting now, but likely many times more.
Yeah people you only gonna get a great speed under ideal settings. Otherwise things like 1-2-3 MB down and .5-1 up seem perfectly fine for a normal 3G phone user on ST.
If you are planning to do some hardcore tethering and wish to maximize speed for that then you aren't gonna really get too far on this plan before you end up in some major problems.

ok guys i ordered yesterday AT&T microsim, and it just got here, let me get outta work, buy a refill card and i will post speed results... i will test on 3g, 3gs, 4, and 4s
give me an hour or 2, BTW I ordered overnight at 2:40pm yesterday, and it got here at 10:00 am (19 hours total from my computer to my door)
I am going to use it on a iphone4, but i do have an iphone3g, a 3gs and an iphone4s to test it on
(and yes I do have a micro to regular sim adapter)
