I ordered the sim for my stepson and we put it in his samsung infuse, I also have the samsung infuse with the old sim, anyway, I compaired speeds and everything was faster with the new ST Sim card than with the one I have been using for the last year, I'm thinking about ordering one for me and selling my sim and the phone that goes with it
hey guys one question regarding the iphone 4s and the T-mob sim. Can i use any t-mob sim card even those that are not working?(meaning never activated, deactivated etc)
Are you planning on buying the Tmo ST Sim? They dont offer as microSIM version, and if so, why limit the iphone 4s to edge only data?
Or are you talking about using the nonAT&T sim swap method to edit APN? If so, I used an activated and non activated Simple Mobile tmo microSIM and both worked on my iphone 4.

I think I might know the answer to this question from looking at some of the posts here, but just in case. You can only get HSPA 3G speeds with At&t and T-Mobile SIMs, even if you have a phone that has HSPA+ capabilities, right? I've been thinking of getting a prepaid phone for a while and I like the fact that you can either choose to go with At&t or T-Mo service on ST/Net10, especially with unlimited data.
I ordered my sim card on the 9th and it got cancelled for no reason 4 business days later. In fatc they had no record that the order was ever placed. I placed another order yesterday for the sim, and I called today to check the status and they again had no record of it. after talking to a tier 2 rep, they indeed had the order and that I should receive it next week. Has anyone else had these problems?
I don't know of any limitations like that, but I'm receiving my 21 Mbps HSPA+ capable Galaxy Nexus this afternoon and can test it out. If it gets the same speeds I've been getting, we won't know that there IS a limit, because AT&T might just not offer those speeds in my area. But if I DO get the speeds, we will know there is not a limit on the ST SIMs, if that makes sense![]()

I ordered mine on monday 2/14. They finally recognized my order yesterday 2/16 and shipped today 2/17. So it took a couple of days to even process my order. Now it is scheduled for tuesday 2/21 delivery. So 1 week after I Ordered it. Which was suppose to be 3 day fedex
It varies by which phone you have, if it's a locked phone. You have to buy a SIM for the carrier the phone is locked to.
If it's not a locked phone, it really doesn't matter, since any ST SIM works on the same towers as any other ST SIM.
The only reason for 2 SIMs being available is that a locked phone won't work with a SIM for a different carrier than the one it's locked to.
Yeah, I'm still getting ~3 down and ~1 up. Oddly though my pings are much faster (250 ms instead of 500 ms before).
Oh well, I'll take it for $90 per month for our two lines instead of Verizon's $185. I'm wifi most of the time when using it anyway, but it still kinda stinks to know I was hitting 40 Mbps with my 4G LTE Galaxy Nexus![]()

Ah, I see. Well I thought there would be some sort of speed limit. But speeds of up to ~7 mbps really aren't that bad at all. I'd be more than happy to have unlimited data on that sort of speed. I mean just looking at a few of the speedtests that have been posted, most seem to be around 3mbps, which is still pretty good. Anyway, thanks for the replies![]()
