Hi,
I am new to this site, so I apologize if this topic has already been discussed. Is it possible to use my Virgin Mobile LG Optimus while traveling in Aruba? The hotel has wi-fi so I don't know if that will work? Thank you all for any help you can provide.

I used my Optimus in Ireland over the summer by connecting through wifi. You can Skype or use Google voice.

Virgin Mobile USA wireless service does not roam, either within the US or outside of it. You cannot use your wireless phone or receive texts, but as the post above says, your other apps will continue to work just fine while connected to wifi.

ATT post paid and VM works as if your in US in Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands.
