You're leaving, you hate this company (or you're really darn disenchanted), and you're going elsewhere. Where to? What deals are you snapping up? Could you leave a tearful farewell?
Here's one. I was a loyal vm user. I've owned the rumor touch, intercept, and the OV. Eventually I'll be paying $40 a month for unlimited everything on Boost. The marquee is an amazing phone. I loved the OV but am glad I have a higher end device with a beautiful display on the same network. It's also been confirmed the optimus black is getting ics. So a cm9 port will surely happen. Long story short if you like your OV you'll fall in love with the marquee. It is amazing :-)
I just ordered a Samsung Conquer from Ting. Based on my usage--well under 100 minutes, very little mobile data, and a lot of texting (which I will use Google Voice for so I will only be using data for that, and I am on wifi most of the time anyways, so I likely won't be doing any normal texting)--I'd either be paying the same as I pay now (~$25/month), or less (~$15/month), depending on my data usage. Considering that they have free voice and text roaming on Verizon and much better customer service, it's worth it to switch.

I left and went to T-mobile at first and they're definitely better. I also have Pageplus who is rock solid.
I am now on ST and they're great, considering the awesome 3.5G data speeds I get, and never having to reset, go to flight mode, or hear data down - all for $45. As of next week, they are even starting to offer BYOD, which destroys the VM value.
I absolutely cannot stand the lack of BYOD and voice (only) roaming on VM. So if I source a Evo for example, I cannot use it. Why? What is the rationale to that over subsidizing crappy handsets at a loss?
VM also needs to offer Wimax services. It's subtle stuff like that why I dislike Sprint, who seem to assume unlimited is all anyone wants.
I'm moving from VM $25/mo plan to the Tmo $30/mo plan simply because VM data speeds are way too slow and their device lineup is so dated. I don't need many minutes and can really take advantage of the better/bigger device and speeds. If something better comes up in the future I am always free to switch again. But I'm not giving up on VM altogether because my wife is keeping her VM $25/mo plan as she does need the minutes and doesn't use much data.
Devices: HTC Mogul, HTC Touch, HTC Touch Pro, HTC Touch Pro 2, Samsung Moment, Samsung Intercept, Motorola Triumph, LG Optimus V, LG Optimus Slider, Nook, Iconia Tab, HTC Sensation

Same here, I just ordered my SIM cards, I will be getting the LG P999 (G2X) and my wife will be getting the LG Mytouch Q
I'm trying to decide between Straight Talk (with the new BYOD) or T-Mobile...T-Mobile just recently lit up 3G in my area which was the main reason why I left them in the first place. I'm thinking T-Mobile with Callingmart is my best option though.

on Straight Talk you would be using AT&T or T-mobile depending on where you are.
I'm switching to Tmobile prepaid from VM $25 Beyond Talk. The Beyond Talk plan is nice, but I never use the all the minutes and only minimal amount of data. The Tmobile $100/1000 minutes for a year is a better deal for me than spending $300 a year for the Beyond Talk plan. Plus I can drop the sim card in any GSM phone.
