I have a friend that has a prepaid Bell plan and is in need of a new, inexpensive phone primarily for talk and text, so a hardware keyboard is preferred (4G not necessary). I am trying to help and suggested a used phone because I have been doing that for years on Rogers.
Unfortunately, I have not been keeping up with the changes since Bell started using SIM cards so my question is:
Which other providers phones, most likely a BlackBerry, will work on Bell prepaid provided they are unlocked and use a Bell SIM card?
Current Package: 4 Smart Phones with Talk, Text & Data,
Samsung Galaxy Tab, Rocket Stick, Home Internet,
Home Phone (3 lines), 2 x HD PVR and HD Cable Package.
Avg. Monthly Bill: $600 CAD
The carries as in Telus,Rogers,Bell,Virgin,Koodo... Phones from any of those providers will work with Bell... Have a look at koodo.. I seen they were selling refurbished BB for $125
