Exclamation Stuck SMS messages. It is always there when I reboot the phone. Help!

I have an SMS message from Jan 16, 2012 that is stuck. Everytime I reboot or do a battery pull it is there when the phone starts up. It is not listed as a new message, and I can delete it. It is empty.

I am not sure if I did this or if it is a carrier issue but how do I permanently delete it? It isn't an actual conversation, looks just like a blank message with my contact's name. I have contacted her from this stuck message in the hopes her reply would unstick it but it is always there on reboot. I can delete it no problem and it goes away. Until I reboot the phone again.

    Thanks!

How do you access SIM SMS? I looked on SIM Services and it only had a few phone numbers.

I called the carrier (Bell) and they suggested doing a master reset, which I'm not very keen to do.

you have to show all applications in messages, then check them, then filter again
Managed to get Mobilicity to act and improve on 4 items.

    Hi JSmythe,

I had the same issue...stuck blank SMS from February 2012. There's a quick fix if you are okay with deleting all your texts. Connect your BlackBerry to your computer-->open BlackBerry Desktop Manager-->click on Device-->go to Delete Data-->click on selected data-->select the SMS database-->click delete.

This will delete the SMS database on your BlackBerry...so all your texts and the stuck blank SMS will be deleted.

    Hope this helps.
