Purchasing Metro phone from Best Buy. Can I still receive rebates......?
I have some gift cards from Best Buy so i want to purchase 2 Samsung Attains. But I want to take advantage of the rebates and Android Family plan promotion($10 off each line per month). Will I still be able to do so if I purchase from BB? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for your response. I actually just read the fine print of the rebate for the Attain and it states that the offer is only valid for Metro PCS stores and dealers stores and Best Buy and Walmart purchases are excluded which makes no sense and sucks!!! But im still wondering if I could get the android add a line discount.....
I was referring to this promo. In the fine print it states the expiration is 3/31. And the LG Esteem is in the picture, so I would think 4G plans are included as well.
I have a question, If I buy a phone ether from Metropcs.com or Best Buy and go to activate it at my local Metro PCS store should they charge me an activation fee? I ask in the store and that is what the lady told me but I don't know if it's because she wants me to buy the phone from her store or if that's how it really is.

It ended early. Its listed right on the website under "expired promotions". I know it's not right because of the Esteem in the pic, but LTE phones were never included. In the fine print it says limited to certain phones and plans. Also if you click on the promo details under the expired promotions, it says limited to cdma androids. It does still say it ends 3/31, but Metro has the right to end promotions any time they wish, unfortunately.

The new promo offers a $25 Reward when you add a new Android line to a Family Plan, even if the new line is a re-activation! So you could buy your phones wherever, start a Family Plan and add new Android lines, and then send in the rebate form for as much as a $125 Reward (5 new Android lines).

Until sometime last year, we dealers received no credit/compensation for activating phones purchased at Best Buy or Wal Mart, so we charged a fee to activate them. Metro does take care of us now, so we don't charge a fee anymore in my store, but some dealers still do. Shop around to find a dealer you like and can trust.

Thanks for responding, it's just that the phones are about $20 cheaper through metropcs.com and you know nowadays you have to look for the best deals. So I guess I should go around to the other stores and see if they charge the activation fee or not.
