    Cricket Pow Wow Meeting

So from a source they had their annual meeting and from what I hear they want to change their stores to focus on white glove service? WTF is that.. Cricket is Cricket you cannot provide White glove service to demographics that don't even know what white glove service is.. Get this, they aren't focusing on numbers as much as the perception to change the store and name. I told my source that they need to get their network and point of sale system in check before offering white glove service.. Also, they need to get their money right first also.

Define white glove services form a wireless standpoint?

BTW, this the same company thats talking about pay by the session data services. e.g. The most janky ghetto offering I have ever heard a wireless carrier come up with.

whats next. Get your taxes done in partnership with Mo Money Taxes inside cricket and pay your bill off each year with an refund loan

I think they may offer a second MVNO based product sort of like how jump was and relegate cricket to the prepaid isle.

I honestly believe the cricket name is a thorn in the side to LEAP management.

If they offer a high end unlimited plan with a mvno sprint agreement they could have a viable service
My HTC Moguls's speed test signal with Cricket EVDO Tests in 2007.
Cricket throttles their network and I only get 300k now

    My view,
if you don't like the service then why are you even bothering with it ? Simply put both of you really don't know much of how cricket's management is done or really what there plan is. I have read countless threads, and bickering posts form you guys on the subject "Cricket is a waste" then why the **** are you bothering with it. Go get a "real" carrier.

IF you think this is news to people or people should consider there options, fine make 1 thread about it and post there yet you guys make threads over and over again about how ****y cricket is or Leap. Cricket is a pre-paid carrier. Who cares if people decided to use Cricket and Cricket ends up bankrupting or something. ITS PRE PAID your not in a contract you're not investing hundereds/millions of dollars into it.

    amo,
How can I flash this brunette ***** to a sexy blonde with long legs?

    ---amoamare---
Pull her shirt over her head. Thats step 1,
    this initlizes the flash!
After this you simply have to use blonde_dye_1.dll this gets rid of the bugs and the ***** control thats built inside.
After that step you simply get a bumper case around the feet.
to extend the look of the legs
    thats how apple does it
and thats how we do it !

Justin I am a former employee that quit because of the way things were being managed at the company. The reason I post this is not to bicker but to maybe drill the point across to someone in corp whos reading this to understand how misguided and poorly ran the company has become since I started with them. I know quite a bit about whats going on currently because I still have very deep connections. Reddragon also has a lot of the same info I know therefore his comments are the same.

I just hope things change for the better soon because they are really needing a change in management. Simply put the only way I'll stop *****ing is the day Doug steps down. He is a classic pile of corporate scum that needs to be put under the jail by the SEC. Things will improve across the entire company if this ever happens.

I loved working at cricket until I started seeing all of my coworkers treated like just a piece on meet with a carrot hung in front of them for a bonus that never gets made. Along with the fact that the managers were encorraged to make false writups to fire people. I saw plenty of people co like that and it pissed alot of us off. I quit after seeing 2 hard working employees get fired just because they had a higher base salary, both of them got falsely accused of issuing credits to accounts without authorization jut to have reason for termination without having to pay unemployment.

I make considerably more and with less stress for a different communications company and actually have a good time on the job like my first years at cricket.

I can personally tell you that no one from corp reads / or even gets on these forums. So if you want to be heard for the issues you have seen in your former work place then you might want to find another solution. That maybe the situation in your former work place but I know for fact it's not all as I have delt with tons of the corp stores worked with more then just the corp stores at a higher level.

All I'm saying is that they do not get on any of these forums. If you want to make a point, maybe you should write a letter of complaint and have deliver it to someone higher up the chain expressing your concerns.

trust me they are on here every once and a while. Thats why you see them aiming guerilla marketers at spamming the site everytime something new launches.

There have been reports filed to the appropriate agencies and there are ongoing investigations. There is a very good reason the CFO jumped ship.

Talking about false write ups, wow they are having a hay day on creativity around my area. People are getting written up for stupid *** ****. As for amoarne we write cause there is no sub forum for employees like the other carriers have. Also, by exposing how their cultures are run it will show transparency and change would be required because someone that has enough pull will call their ********..

The really messed up part is that Area Managers and DMs are writing managers up so they don't have to pay them their bonus checks. They are so much in a hole and they can't fire people legitimately that they have to do these tactics to save money. I'm like why don't they take a paycut instead of punishing others.. Or instead of a write up of firing people compromise in the sense take 1/2 payment(bonus) and give the rest as shares or other things.. Hell.. be creative.

Don't get me wrong friends like working @ Cricket, but how they are cutting and been cheap from bottom to top is ridiculous. I would love to see someone unionize the place. I don't like unions but in this case well it can't get any worse..

How about this for a suggestion, so you don't want to see us gripe on the main forum create that employee section like red dragon said. we could pass this on to all of our co workers and actually be able to communicate without some gestapo like manager firing us for it.

People seriously want to talk about this but are afraid of loosing their job. This along with people passing the word around could change things for the better.

Maybe if people see what it really like inside than cricket might be embarrassed enough to fix the mess they made over the past 5-7 years

Two good things could happen, The first option being the easiest.

    A. Cricket realizes the massive problems they have and restructures the company to suit everyones needs better. The realize that it's not just shareholder value that makes good numbers but the front line employee that makes those numbers happen. An employee under less stress tends to be more comfortable with selling products, Also trying to sell the whole store to a customer just scares them away to indirects so stop expecting us to do that if you want good numbers.

    B. Employees get together and start a real effort to create a well organized union. Pass out the URL to other employees and get the ball rolling on some respect towards non management. Keep in mind cricket's idea of cooperating with a union is selling a market to Verizon like they did with Michigan way back. I dont think that they could sell off all the markets and be profitable.

Currently the cricket forum is not active enough to request another sub-forum for employee only. Also it would come up with the question of how do we know the person is truly a cricket employee and not a dealer employee. Time to manage another sub-forum, etc, etc. So at this time I would say no on that aspect.

It sure would be nice. I know a ton of people that would like to see it happen.

There are few people on the front lines these days that are happy with that job title. I'd just like to see that change as I work for a company that takes care of their employees way better with a much lower ARPU and customer base per employee. There is just no real reason to disrespect CSR's the way that company does.

I'm working for a privately owned wireless provider in arkansas now and the difference is night and day. Dont give up hope and think that all the companies are like that. This is plain and simple greed ruining a company that has the capabilities of providing a better quality of services along with caring for the employees. If they realise that and fix the issue revenues will increase simply because of higher moral and more of a willingness the promote products vs just trying to outsell my coworker just so I can keep a job mentality that is whats currently in place. No one need to give me that crap about the grass isnt greener on the other side junk because let me tell you my life is much better after I left that dump. I just wish all the other people working there would take a look at other carriers. Some markets are nicer than others but memphis is so bad there is maybe a single CSR per store with over 5 years seniority. I used to see people move from verizon and quit within days because they said the company was a waste of time.

They actually did this in Chicago. We were required to find a local tax preparation agency that gave instant refunds and have them setup in store. Why?; So that customers could get their refund and immediately spend it on Cricket products and services. Yes, it was very ghetto.

There is a disconnect between senior leadership and the front line. The front line knows that Cricket is seen as a ghetto phone for people that can't do any better. Senior leadership doesn't realize this. They were actually astonished when we told them that Sprint and T-Mobile are much more highly regarded and that Cricket is for people that can't do any better. They had no idea.

That is why this year they are focusing on Customer Service .. Calling it Cricket Revolution.. I'm like thinking shouldn't they been doing this way back? They expect everyone to erase the image of old cricket to new cricket and in my humble opinion I would say that Cricket is like used underwear with a streak on it. You can wash it all day long but the stain will always be there..

They need to get rid of all the old dinosaurs and also the rejects that they hire from other companies to run the company and then it will have a chance to succeed.. They need to have new way of thinking and stop following the big boys..
