Walmart 4G 30$ Plan? Skype

So Im a Metro PCS customer and been dying to try this new plan!
But because im a new to all this i have some questions.

For me to keep same number, can i port it to t-mobile, being that its prepaid?
And Im also confused on the Skype app. I want to buy a subscription knowing that the plan only comes with 100mins.
But I want my number to show instead of the Skype number?

Buy a Skype account (premium) and you can change the Caller ID of your Skype number.

I have Skype for inbound routed by my Google Voice number and it works fine. It can be flaky in the car when changing towers, but overall I've been happy with Skype. GrooveIP wasn't as good of an option for me due to bad call quality.

And how much difference do you think im going2 see with 4G from T-mobile, from my Droid 2 on MetroPcs with 1X?

Depends on where you live. But my guess is that if you live in a metro area you will experience
a significant difference.
