Can Someone Please Help Find A Lower Price Plan For My Blackberry Torch
hi guys, its that time of year that i have to cut down on some costs. i got two blackberry torch's (ones my gf's, ones mine) im looking to try to lower the bill if possible. the features we have are:
Fab 10 Promo 60 BlackBerry Share - 36M $60.00/mo.
200 shareable minutes
Unltd Nights & Wknds 9PM-7AM
Unl. nationwide member talking
National Fab 10 - Text & Talk
Text Messaging - Unlimited Package
Unlimited Picture_Video Bundle
Basic Long Distance Rate
Plan promotion- 1 mth discount
Conference Calling and Call Waiting
6pm-9pm extended hours promo
If you do the $50 voice and data with the fab five feature and then add the $15 unlimited messaging bundle and multiple it by 2 you're at exactly $130+Taxes. If you've been with them for a while, might also be worth trying the retention route and see if you can get anything better.
Koodo. Much better value for your money on a as reliable network as Bell.
$50(unlimited canada no roaming fees) + $5 (unlimited international txt) + $15 (100mb bb data)
Totals 70x2=140 per month
If data is not enough the you can add $20 more and you get 2gb bb data (that's a lot) for both lines. Totals 160 per month which is what you are paying.

only thing i forgot to add is we totally need caller id. that is 8$ extra, which makes it more than 160$ after taxes (taxes are 15%) . unless theres a pack or something im not seeing?
i been with them sense october 2011, so only couple months. what might you suggest? or is there no way to get it really any cheaper even by ten bucks?
and for the koodo reply, im on a 3 year term with bell though. i learned not to sign contracts lol.
You'll be at 140+taxes with call display and voicemail. You'd substitute the $15 messaging bundle with the $20 bundle that gives you unlimited text, call display and voicemail.

dang, so really it wont be any cheaper, actually be a dollar or two more. as it gets to 161$ after taxes. im going to try to knock her out of the fab thing. or atleast talk to her. i suppose i cant talk to retentions cause i only am in four months on my three year term? thxs so much for your help! really appreciate it.
On contract terms and responsibilities and getting the right information:
When youre talking about signing a contract for 3 years that will in the end may potentially cost you 20x X number of months you really should do everything to protect yourself.
