does this mean tmobile has compatible band with softbank phones here?
That's just the global roaming rates if you had a softbank account and was going to roam in the US with it.

007SH.... chances are you're stuck on 2G and that's the end of that. None of my phones from SoftBank or Docomo work on 3G on T-mobile For AT&T as long as it has 850Mhz it will work on 3G. So you'll be stuck on 2G if you plan on using TMO.

    It's all good (^_^)

3G still won't work for incoming calls even on simlocked Android devices.

If it's a (soft)unlocked device then you're good to go, assuming the phone supports your carrier's 3G bands.

If it's a soft unlocked phone then yes 3G will work for incoming and outgoing, and internet will work if it's an Android device, because UK networks use 2100 like Japan do.

If you're referring to the 007 then it'll have to be a unique scenario (like the Rogers 3040 thing) for 3G incoming to work, unless you get an unlocked 007 from 'kokos'.

Yep TMO US's 3G is different from the rest of the world. AT&T is a more expensive rip-off carrier yet has a compatible band with some world devices on 3G. *sigh* I guess carriers can't be perfect.

well to be fair, if T-Mo hadn't gotten the AWS spectrum they would never have entered the 3G space (as far as I understand things anyway), due to AT&T already owning their UMTS bands.

FWIW, Wind and Mobilicity in Canada use AWS too, and I think there's one Australian carrier using AWS, so it's not _all_ bad...

And we'll end up with similar messes with LTE using different bands all over the world and from carrier to carrier, like in the early days of GSM. woooo!

For me im still thinking about it because in my case i would have to switch over to another phone company in order to have working 3g. I do want to get this phone though but maybe wait for price to go down a bit since i dont plan on switching to AT&T anytime soon.

Let me know how the phone is when you get yours and get to play around with it for a bit xD

Does anyone know if I decide to buy a normal 007sh and hypersim would 2g work? and can anyone tell me a good place to get a good price for both the phone and good hypersim.

Also i never used android os, so is the softunlock = to iphone jailbreak? and im guessing hypersim unlock isnt like software unlock and its only for call/text.

Another question i cant find a answer to is, whats the difference between official software unlock(like Docomo) and the software unlock kokos is doing?
