I am going to be working in Duncan, AZ (85534) and considering my options for cell service. Tmoile has good coverage, but I have not made a decision yet.
What network is Straighttalk on please? The website coverage map is not the best to say the least, lol.
It depends what phone you buy... it can be either T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint.
Generally, from what I've noticed, the cheaper phones that end with G are on T-Mobile (some possibly on AT&T, too), the cheap phones that end with C are Verizon, the Android phones are Sprint, and the Nokia smartphones are AT&T. If you plan on using your own phone and getting one of their new SIM cards that they'll be selling in a few days, you'll probably have the choice of either AT&T or T-Mobile...
Once you determine the best provider, check back and we will tell you how to make sure you get that provider. Otherwise the provider you get can be hit or miss, which is unacceptable.
Ok, great input! Sprint CDMA is not a option as I am on Bost now, that is why I am looking at options. I will be in Duncan Tuesday,,,,the locals say that Verizon, At&t, tmobile are my best options. It seems I should wait until after the 7th to make a decision?
I am on a Samsung Galaxy Prevail (Boost) and would like some close to that as far as my choice. But it seems a Andriod is NOT a option, correct? I like the fact that I am able to teather my laptop for wifi,,so this is something I would like to have as well.

with tethering you would need to watch how much data you use, because staight talk shuts your phone off for useing too much data. you have to use under 2gb of data.
I installed the 3G Watchdog app this morning to see my actual usage. I typically check email, FB and cruise the net. Never have gamed or used Netflix, etc.
