Voicemail - when I call my Boost number I get someone else's voicemail box

This has been happening for months. When I call my Boost number (from another phone), my handset rings a couple of times and then goes to another Boost customer's voicemail box. I hear his greeting in which he states his own number (which has the same area code and prefix as my Boost number but the last four numbers are different). If I call this other person's number directly, I get a greeting that says the "telephone number I've dialed is temporarily not in service".

I've tried my sim chip in different handsets and it happens with all of them. It's clearly a network problem.

Boost customer service tells me this can't happen. So, I basically can't get any help from them and their attempts to escalate my issue never go anywhere.

Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?

I figured it out. Boost apparently gave me a mailbox space that used to belong to another user. They didn't erase the previous user's greeting. So, it really was my own voicemail box I was accessing---it just had a previous user's greeting attached to it.
