Casio G'zOne Boulder - How to turn off the side media button?

The button on the right side will automatically play music at full volume at the simple press of a button. I don't need my phone to start playing music while Im in class just because I may have accidentally pressed a button on my phone. Is there a way to turn off the Red media button on my phone? Im thinking of permanently removing it somehow- there is no feature to turn it off within the phone.

Update: I just opened the phone with a leather man, exposed the bottom end of the media button and cut off the plastic that would press the button. No more annoying music button!!

I would have tried putting super glue (or the like) around the button, preventing it from moving. Then if you ever want it back to normal (which I understand would more than likely been never) just slice the glue off with an exact o knife or put the phone in to some nail polish remover to dissolve the glue.
