What up with the 3g

Ok makes no sense I niticed signal interderence and 3g popung up from staten island omw to manhatten from ferry and in brooklyn omw from china town and in staten island alot more but everytime I try and use data it disappears and starts bugging then sometimes u get a bar or two of ut and can use it in certain spits it.makes no sense anybody no why this is

That probably means that metro is upgrading their network there from 1x to 3G. In a couple of days the 3G will be stable

do you have the latest prl (dial *228 and say roaming list.) here's something else you may want to try as well: http://androidforums.com/admire-all-...ml#post3914049 should work under the same principal with all phones...

This hasbeen going on for a while now I thought it would stabilize but it hasnt and thanks for the link ill try it and see if it works

i did the link and all i think it did was make my phones speeds slower on 1x i didnt see a 3g icon popup and normally at random times i used to see it come up what to do?????????????

i know 3g aka evdo isn't guaranteed, so there isn't too much you really can do to make sure you get it... pretty much the things listed, etc can do it... make sure you have the latest prl (dial *228 and say roaming list or update manually with qpst or other software,) try the 3g booster mod (link i provided from other site,) pull the battery for 5 minutes, have metro refresh your account in the switch, double check programming (mdn, min, sid,) and that's about it... i don't know if they'll issue a trouble ticket for no 3g aka evdo as it's not guaranteed...

Well thanks for the help im just about ready tp give ip on 3g cuz I get the icon pop up alot and then it just disappears not really usable but at cetain times I can it makes no sense but I appreciate the help

i hear you there, it sounds silly to say wait for the 3g aka evdo when we already have lte aka 4g...
