Hello all,

I recently got my Star Tac ST7868w working with Page Plus, so for fun I thought I'd see if I could get my old Qualcomm/Kyocera QCP 860 working also. However instead of buying a new phone activation I mistakenly bought standard minutes without the activation. I called Page Plus to help activate the phone, however their customer service department wasn't able to program the handset over the phone; they're telling me to go in to a dealer to have it programmed.

I just wanted to know if you guys knew anything I could try to program this phone on my own, much like my Star Tac. I was able to access the programming mode on the phone-something Page Plus was trying to do with me but we couldn't figure out how to access it during the call.

Another question: if in the end I can't program this phone, would I be able to apply these minutes to my Star Tac? Or am I just out the money for the minutes I bought?
