Really not finding any reason for that update. It wouldn't recognize my google account. I had to reset phone to factory settings for update to work!

One of the issues I had with the Bionic, Razr and Razr Maxx was the continual cycling between 4G & 3G. The new. 902 OTA software update on the Bionic finally fixed that issue, and the unit Im using has maintained a solid 4G connection. What I'm wondering is if the new .173 update for the Razr & Maxx resolves the 4G/3G cycling with it, or if its still a problem. I don't have a Razr, so can't try it out for myself.
By the way, those of you looking to Root the Razr & Maxx should be able to use this same method that works on the Bionic:

Works like a charm on the Bionic with .902 firmware.
It should also work on most other Motorola Droid-branded phones with Verizon.
