Google Voice App vs. Talkatone

Hi All!

I have both on my iPhone, Google Voice and Talkatone, and I was wondering what the real difference between the two is? They seem like pretty much the same app, just one is made by Google, and the other uses Google.

Talkatone allows you to make/receive VOIP calls over your GV/Gmain account, using only data. GV and GVMobile+ allow you to make calls using your voice connection by passthrough dialing or callback, i.e. not VOIP.

GV and GVMobile+ will also allow you to read/listen to your voicemail, receive SMS to your GV#, admin your GV account, etc.
