My HTC Desire has fairly good reception. I know Moto's reception is awesome but the performance annoys me and I really shouldn't have to root a phone in order for it not to lag.

Anyone jumping ship may want to wait a bit more, at least for a better sale. Listing at $329.99 on contract, which frankly, is ridiculous given the age of the handset.

Out of curiosity, where did you see that price? Sounds outrageous!

$229 after MIR, combined with the leaked rebate form showing it having a $100 rebate.

If your going to use the MHL Hdmi adapter for the S2 be careful, My daughters boyfriend's charging port is shot after 3 months. Dumb idea by Samsung not to put 2 separate ports in.
MOTOROLA Still #1 in reception and call clarity.

Couldn't agree more. HTC reception is crap. That said I do have the Hero S because I have an intense hatred of PenTile screens and just couldn't bring myself to get the Electrify. And I agree with the people on here saying that the Electrify seems laggy, or at least the one I've tried in the store was.

I ended up returning it and sticking with my Mesmerize.
Back in the day I could easily see pixelation on the Mesmerize, as it was a PenTile display, and despite the vivid colors provided by the Super AMOLED I just couldn't deal with it and got a Desire. Same situation happened with the Electrify and Hero S. Electrify is way better on paper, but it's PenTile screen is utterly horrid, retaining the pixellated look of the Mesmerize and losing the Mesmerize's vivid colors.

GS2 in white has popped up also. No idea if it'll have a higher price than the current $329 new, $349 renewal listing.

Do you mean on Sprint? Since the Galaxy S 2 isn't available from uscc yet.
