Recently I bought a Samsung printer that had a Samsung retail price on $214.00, but I got it at Staples for 100 bucks. So I investigated some more and found out that the only devices that are sold at retail (inflated x2) were wireless devices. So you have the horse behind the cart.
Oh dear, OpenSignalMaps says Lte 3% of the time! And ATT map say Good to go Lte! If interested you can get OpenSignalMaps from Anroid play.
This angers me so much. The more "carriers" using the Sprint network there are, the more threatened our Unlimited data is, and our data speeds (which already aren't so hot). I understand Sprint makes money with this, but is it really worth it? I at least hope this starts to stop once their LTE network is deployed. I'd be real pissed paying $100+ and watching a Virgin Mobile user paying $55 and surfing on Sprint's 4G LTE.
I'm Dakota. Apple Specialist & Advanced iPhone user. Feel free to ask me any questions. Also, remember to follow the forum rules people.
Sprint should NOT sell their network to other companies.
Just keep it for Sprint (highest priority, best speeds), Boost, and Virgin.
The only time they should sell is when they are getting paid well for minutes, texts, or data. Don't offer unlimited data period.
What's the point of selling network usage to StraightTalk who resells unlimited for $45 when Sprint/Boost/Virgin don't even offer unlimited for $45? I bet that StraightTalk doesn't even give them 50%... So Sprint gets maybe $20 for unlimited when they couldn't even offer 300 minutes on Virgin for $25?
Instead of making low profit off other MVNO's, offer the deals directly and put more money in your pocket Sprint.
Home ISP, RR-Turbo WiFi, $80/mo | Verizon 4G, $30/mo Unlimited
School, $5,000/semester | Work
v Speed Test with my Motorola Droid in AL. Droid Does (and so Does Verizon).
Speed Test with my Motorola Droid in Birmingham, AL. Droid Does (and so Does Verizon).^ Speed Test with DSL internet with AT&T(Bellsouth). Horrible.

What if Straight Talk gave them access to a segment of the market that they previously didn't have access to? Basically those people who sign up for ST wouldn't have thought about using Sprint/VM/Boost in the first place.
I don't think its 100% the case, but I think the majority of Straight Talk users with Sprint Android phones are ones who wouldn't have looked at Sprint/VM/Boost. Straight Talk has the power of Wal-mart to reach a certain segment of the market.
By the way, I'm not saying its not a bad decision by Sprint, I'm just saying theres more to the picture.
Am I missing something here? When did Straight Talk flip from Verizon's network to Sprint? Tracfone/ Net10 / Straight Talk, etc. lease from Verizon last time I checked.
I recently purchased the LG55 optimus Q and I love it. The reason I bought it is because I stream to a lot of videos and with a 32GB microSD I have stored about 46 music videos so far.The keyboard is a QWERTY function which means that you can touch the screen or slide the phone for a keyboard. I have no complaints and this is the right smart phone for me for the right price too.
