Got both my kids this phone Feb 3rd... keep getting that there is a software update, but it always fails to install, on both phones. Went into our local corporate Verizon store to see if they could manually flash it, but were told they no longer have techs in the store, and won't flash phones. All updates will be strictly OTA.
Anyway, does anyone have any info on this failed updater? Is there a file to flash it with, or do these phones brick easily?
there are a number of posts about this in the VZW forums, including a few CS replies that there is a problem with the update from Pantech and "they're working to resolve the issue". some people have indicated successful updates, but mine has yet to work.
