    ICS on Electrify

Does anyone know if ice cream sandwich will be coming to the electrify?? If so when?? It should be capable hardware wise. I hope it gets ICS. But I would like to hear if anyone else has heard any news. If I come across anything I will post it here.

There's a decent CM9 port already, but someone on XDA posted a motorola release saying the Photon would get it, which means we'll at least get a very stable custom rom version if true.

Here ya go. I'm running CM9 btw, it's great. With Cybik's CM7 build, which is fully stable for me, I get about 36-48 hours of battery with my usage (and some tweaks) and 5200 on quadrant.

Is there a link for CM9 or CM7? I can't seem to find it anywhere, though I have never claimed to not be blind.

This is the CM7 build I'd use:
    http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1304881 I ran this with Jokersax's 1.4OC kernel.
    CM9:

The Electrify will officially be getting ICS in Q3.

From what I read, there is no date scheduled for the Electrify, but they are investigating it currently...

... and if it gets ICS it won't be till Q3 at the earliest. Most likely later.

I personally wouldn't want ICS till near year end anyway. You all know 4.0 lacks flash right now, right? Adobe won't release a version till second half of 2012 supposedly.

Based on what? I've had the legitimate release of ICS on my Xoom tablet since the middle of January and it's had Flash all along...

Sorry I read that article wrong. It wasn't released right away but did get released with an Android 4.0 patch a little over a month ago. The Nexus didn't have it when it first came out though.
