    Alberta Data?

Anyone notice Telus is unbelievably slow? Its seemed to slow my phone down to the point where I stuck the sim card in my LG flip and using that, which texts are still slow.

Facebook mobile took over 5 minutes to load after trying for 45 with errors this afternoon in Calgary and BBM is slow too. iPhone is just as slow as well.

It may be a silly question but did you try other sites? Facebook had been slow lately in general.

About a week or two ago, Telus period was slow. ADSL. I was also talking to company's in Toronto that we deal with and they were having the same problem. I think there was actually some major internet issue. Depending on where you were and your ISPs routing you were probably affected. It was fixed late on Friday though. This week it's been fine.

As far as the cell goes, ya Facebook was having issues, and being dog slow updating status' and such. I would be willing to bet that if you're outside of the major hubs (Edm,Cgy,Red Deer,MHat,Mac) then you were having massive problems as well. It seems they just kind of forget about us because no one calls in when there's problems.

My biggest recommendation to clients, is that if you're in a certain area, and you notice a service change, like your calls don't go through (Call Failed), or just service drops traveling from town to town, then it's probably a tower issue where there's too many subscribers when you're going through. If you notice your phone goes into SoS mode around a certain town often, tell Telus that it is happening so they can fix it. I'm sure they don't actively look at it, because it's rural and who cares about rural right

I know whether or not Telus is clogged and trust me. Some areas its lots of the time. Is there an option to switch frequencies on a berry?
