    Question Belle and Google Maps

Crashes when I start it. Some people have no problems. Just wanted to see what kind of ratio there is.

How are you guys downloading Gmaps? I know you can side-load, but I'd like to straight download.
    I don't understand either.

Do you mean you want to download the maps directly to your phone? Anyway, I used the Nokia Suite and I downloaded about 4-5 gigs so it took a while. You can also download over wireless but if you want a lot of maps or the whole of USA (1.98 gb) I would suggest using the suite. Single US states are probably fine using the phone.

Go to m.google.com and pick Google Maps. Pretty easy. It detects what kind of phone you have so you don't have to guess which version you need.

I think you may be referring to Nokia Maps.

I was doing it through Opera and it wasn't working for some reason; no issues using the stock browser.

Been running an unofficial Belle ROM for awhile, found that if WiFi is OFF then Google Maps crashes on start every time. With WiFi switched ON (doesn't need to be connected) I have never had an issue.
