Question Does anyone know if there will be a Droid 4 Maxx/Droid5 coming out in a few months?

I'm asking because I need a new phone with a keyboard now!!! But I also would like better battery life. People have guessed that there will be one in the near future, but that is a guess only. And the release of even the Droid 4 has dragged on and on forever as it is. Anyone with any inside knowledge??

    Doubt it.

Because Motorola wants to produce less smartphones this year. And a Droid 4 Maxx may push their thickness limits. Since the Droid 4 is already thicker than the Razr couple that with the Maxx's battery, might be too big of a slab of a phone.

I thought the same thing too. They basically cannibalize their sales with these quick releases and really make it confusing for average users. I mean the Bionic was supposed to be this top dog phone, then a few months later comes the Razr then a few weeks later a redesigned Razr...now the Droid 4. As much as I hate to say this, Apple does it right by keeping it simple. Everyone knows the iPhone and it's a simple choice when you go to buy one.

The iPhone is prob the easiest phone to use from my experience. It's simple but effective.

Why aren't you also worried that within just a few more months, there will be the Droid 5 Maxx, and the Droid 6 coming out?

The Droid 6 will support LTE+ and have a two year talk time eliminating the need for VZW to include a charger in the box.
