This Friday's BOGO deal on RAZR's. Got questions!

I bought original phone from calling Verizon directly (*611).
When I attempted to return it I called *611 and they said I would have to call a corporate store to do this.And i called 2 different stores.

I went in yesterday and got the maxx and they gave double data without any problems. My wife wants to give me her rezound and take the maxx. The speeds on the rezound seem faster to me but it could just be a quinkydink. I guess a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. Anyone want to buy a sewing machine and a girls bike? Nah I couldn't do that.

Any idea how long this is going to last? Im with Sprint and waiting to see if any info on the new iphone comes before I jump ship. I really like that Maxx but wife wants iphone. Maybe I will just jump now and than sell both phones on ebay and purchase 2 new iphone this fall. Dam I dont know what to do but I am not missing out on the double data promo.

Isn't the double data promo only on 4g phones? If the new iPhone doesn't have lte that would trigger you to lose the promotion.

In any event, the last time Verizon offered the double data promo, it lasted for about a month or less, so I doubt it would still be around if the new iPhone doesn't come out until late summer or early fall.

If att continues to over throttle, vz may keep the double data around for a while or at least bring it back every so often. I think the double data is the plan to sweep up unhappy customers.

I hope Verizon doesn't follow anything AT&T does in terms of price hikes and this crazy throttling at ~2GB. I would pack up my bags quickly!

IMHO, I would have your wife try the Razr and you have 14 days to return it and then you can pay extra $199 to get the iphone. But really I would have her try it as I think she would like it more.

Sorry my wife is an avid android hater. She had the nexus on Sprint and threw it in the garbage. She loves her blackberry but is wanting to try the iPhone since she loves the iPad so much.
