    Nokia 803

I don't understand this. Nokia plans to dump Symbian but then not because of this new phone coming out.

Can some diehard Nokia users explain this to me? Are they in or out? Should I upgrade my 5800 to the 701 or wait for this 803?
    Comments welcome.

If 803 is real, then it may be the last phone and will be supported until 2016

Then this may be the last Nokia I purchase but somehow I don't think we have heard the last of Symbian. Not even with this phone...

I wouldn't get the 701. Only N8 and the rumoured 803 seem remotely worth it to me. And then only if you're a camera fiend.
Please don't PM me asking questions that could very easily be asked publicly.

Band I/1 = IMT, 2100 (rarely wrongly referred to as 1900/2100)
Band II/2 = PCS, 1900 (never wrongly referred to as 1800/1900)
Band III/3 = DCS, 1800 (never wrongly referred to as 1700/1800)
Band IV/4 = AWS, 1700 (often wrongly referred to as 1700/2100)
    Band V/5 = CLR, 850
    Band VIII/8 = GSM, 900

    The Rogers Lumia 710 only has 1, 2, 4, 5

It's more than just camera for me. I have used a Galaxy SII on travel, my Nook Color and my N9. My N8 still stays with me. I use it beyond just the camera. I keep coming back to the N8. If the 803 is real or anything like the N8 I may have to pick one up!

I like the specs, particularly NFC and the larger screen...but from the pictures it has that 'generic' brick shape instead of the N8 shape, which I'm not necessarily fond of.

Lets see if the rumors hold true.

I think the screen is going to be the same res as he current symbian phones, nHD.. And it will be over $550 for sure.
